A sustainable vision

We lead in the development of first-in-class medicines. But we’re also setting an industry example through our sustainability program —including environmental and community outreach, such as STEM education and volunteering. The impact is local, national and, ultimately, global.

STEM education

We’ve made it our business for years to support STEM education—talking to students, their teachers and their parents. Our goal is to share what we know about how these fields are crucial—and even transformative—to all of our futures.

Environmental sustainability

We go beyond basic green measures. We are frontrunners in energy management and efficiency improvement, making us part of an innovative leadership movement focused on long-term energy conservation and a sustainable—yet competitive—future.

Sustainability isn’t just about the environment anymore. It’s also about performance and social responsibility. Our commitment to our business, our industry and our employees is to make all of these elements a strategic priority.

I have been working at MedImmune full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly environment and great working conditions. Lots of benefits available as well as talks about different things and networking opportunities

    Cons

Yet to move to nearer to Cambridge itself. Granta Park circuit is a little far and the move to the new building isn't happening until next year it is now thought.

    Advice to Management

The management do a great job, the addition of initiatives like the AZ2025 are helpful to make employees feel like their opinions and ideas matter to the company. Making sure that the employees get a say in changes to the company that impact them such as the pension issues is important.
