Being a parent has been a tough job over the last year and a half, with the lines between work, home, and our children's schooling suddenly blurred. But for parents who are in prison, it has been challenging in a different way; separated from their children and loved ones for months on end, at a time when feeling connected felt so important for so many. As a result, we weren't surprised when PACT (Prisons Advice and Care Trust) told us that the #1 factor reducing the re-offending rate is the strength of the imprisoned individual's connections to their family and loved ones. MindGym and Parent Gym are working with PACT to support them on the amazing work they do with prisoners to help them form long-lasting, happy relationships with the people they care about. And for the first time ever, we have three runners (Milly Sellers, Beth Pickford, Roy Diggory) entered in the London Marathon to raise money for PACT. Please join us in cheering on our fellow MindGymers!

Pros

Mind Gym is going places. A fascinating company, that is changing every day, and striving towards an innovative way of working, using behavioural science, that can really make a difference to people.

Cons

Being part of company in transition is hard work. Our leaders are ambitious and ask a lot to help them drive where they want the company to go. It's not easy work, and it often pushes people out of

I applied online. I interviewed at MindGym (United Kingdom)

    Interview

Multi part process with different roles and teams in the business. Started with Tech but was a rounded conversation beyond the stack experience and what problems I’d solved. We talked about the commercial implications and the mid term mission
    Interview

Three sets of discussions across Tech, Product and Ops. All of which were aligned which was a good sign!
