The New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council recognized Moody’s Procurement and Sourcing Group with its Rising Star award in 2014. The award is given each year to a public or private sector entity that has advanced supplier diversity initiatives within its organization.

    I get to create industry leading mathematical/financial solutions using some of the newest technical solutions in cloud computing and machine learning.

    Cons

    The same cons as most global firms subject to heavy regulation - standardised process, centralised hr department and red-tape, slowing down some projects (but this is minimal).

    Application

    I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Moody's Corporation in January 2020.

    Interview

    Applied in September, but didn't receive anything any emails until December (Moody's stated that they should normally reply by around November but I don't know why mine was slightly later). After getting the email, which contained a link to the online test (numerical, verbal and logical) I received an email at the start of January for my telephone number, and they called the day after just to arrange a time. This was followed up with an email confirming the time and also the people (2 interviewers) who were going to give me the telephone interview, which was quite nice. The interview itself was okay. Nothing too unexpected. Mostly competency based questions. Now I am waiting on their reply for the assessment centre.
