I have been working at Moorhouse Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Personal Development – Moorhouse lives by its moto of developing extraordinary leaders. This manifests in impressive access to training and support. Particular note is given to the thoughtful and well-delivered internal training programme and a strong network of support both at your engagement and internally. I received a promotion within 5 months at Moorhouse - a testament to their support structures letting you hit the ground running and develop at pace.

Culture – Moorhouse has an incredibly welcoming culture. The people are excellent. They are bright, inclusive and a pleasure to work with. You can get stuck into plenty of interesting internal work. Collaboration between all levels of the business is encouraged and listened to. Most importantly it is delivered with humour and a genuine desire to help. There are regular social events each month, plus a quarterly event outside of the office. The leadership team really focus on cultivating and promoting this culture as the company develops.

Interesting work - I have had the pleasure of working on some very interesting projects, working alongside excellent clients and Moorhouse colleagues.

    Cons

There are no cons to consider.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for your hard work. It makes a big difference. Keep doing what you're doing - listening, focusing on developing excellent people and a special culture.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Moorhouse Consulting (London, England) in January 2020.

    Interview

I interviewed with Moorhouse in January 2020. It started with a phone conversation to discuss the company, the recruitment process, the salary package etc. They then invited me to come in for an informal conversation with a manager. This was an opportunity to get a feel for the company, understand who they are and what type of consulting they are doing. After that, they invited me to a 1st competency based interview with a partner, followed by a 2nd and last interview, again with a partner. For the last interview they asked me to prepare a ppt presentation (at home) about my CV and a short case study of one of my previous engagements. Shortly after the last interview, I received an offer. The process took roughly 1 month and felt very different from any other recruitment process. They were much more focused on getting to know me as a person than asking the usual interview questions such as “how do you react in x situation”? Everybody was extremely friendly all throughout the process and made me feel very welcome.
