Company Updates

  • This month, NIKE, Inc. teammates came together virtually to celebrate and commemorate Pride. Events ranged from sessions on the importance of pronouns and inclusion to Drag Queen Bingo. Teammates also joined powerful conversations with Jarvis Sam, Nike Senior Director of Diversity Recruiting and Talent Experience, Marquita Thomas, Los Angeles LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce and David Johns, Executive Director of the National Black Justice Coalition, to discuss being Black and LGBTQIA+ in 2020, and many others. Nike Mexico hosted a series of digital activities including a session with soccer pros Viviana Michel and Ana Gaby Lozada who discussed the significance of the month for them and encouraged others to face life situations with confidence and love. And of course, Pride wouldn’t be Pride without the launch of our Nike BeTrue and Converse Pride Collections.

  • Since its creation in 2009, the Nike N7 Fund, focused on getting youth in Native American and Indigenous communities in North America moving, has awarded more than $8 million in grants to more than 270 communities and organizations. This year we recognized and donated $500,000 to 19 organizations. These grant recipients deliver programs and services that increase physical activity, support education and career development and provide essential healthcare needs.
