Advice to Management
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nationwide Building Society (Northampton, England) in April 2018.
The interview process involved 3 stages. One initial screening phone call with the resourcing consultant, then another telephone interview with competency based questions and product review or presentation and then a final face to face interview where I was asked 3 questions that were competency based and then also had to do a role play.
the role play involved a customer who had an overdraft account and was overdrawn. They were looking at how you would treat the customer in their time of crisis. Unfortunately I got caught out during the interview as the instructions they provided were not clear enough and therefore ended up stumbling over my own words and did not know all the options we were able to present to the "customer".
We're proud to announce that we have signed up to the Good Recruitment Charter.
After all, we love for our candidates to positively experience what defines and differentiates us.
