    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Natural Resources Wales in July 2020.

    Interview

I was offered an interview a week after the application closed, and was given 6 days notice for the interview. The questions were based on the competencies listed on the job description, there were no surprises there. However, some of the examples I had prepared weren’t customer service related, they were related to my degree, yet the questions were quite focused so make sure you have examples of competencies that are closely related to the role you are applying for. The panel were very friendly. I was offered written feedback as I was unsuccessful at the interview stage which was useful for future job applications.

    Interview Questions

    • Forward Thinking
      Analysing and Judgement
      Collaborating with others
      Customer Focus

(Questions were customer service related questions based on these competencies)   Answer Question
