    Pros

While this section is for Ness Technologies, that company no longer exists. It was taken private in 2011, and various business units sold off by its new owners. I work for Ness SES, one of the remaining BUs and the most successful.

Having worked for a much larger and more "Indian" company as well as one of Ness's competitors, Ness SES is a great company to work for. The management was restructured over a year ago, and it now has a clear vision and strategy. The company is focused on creating software products and platforms for the digital economy, and is cited as a leader in this area by analyst firms like Forrester and Ovum.

Working conditions are relaxed. As well as a strong UX design capability some really innovative software engineering work gets done. We have some great customers who value our work - some of which you and I interact with every day. People are easy to work with, and there's minimal politics.

    Cons

People are often out on client sites, so we don't have the same buzz that we used to have in the London office.

    Advice to Management

It's a great vision & strategy, please don't get sidetracked by distractions.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Ness Technologies (London, England) in May 2016.

    Interview

The first stage was a telephonic interview where they asked me questions about my portfolio, thought process, creative direction behind a specific portfolio. What my strengths are and why was I applying for this role and if I was willing to relocate to London, since I used to live in Midlands.

After clearing the phone interview, I was invited for a face to face interview. For which, they gave me a task to complete from home and present it in person.

The interview lasted about an hour.
