I have been working at Neudesic full-time (More than 3 years)

I've been here just under 3 years and when I look back at all of the incredible work we have done as a team and the amount of growth we have seen in everything from our people, client portfolio, skills, physical office space, revenue, etc. its been quite an impressive ride. Recently with the COVID-19 Pandemic, you see the true colors of a firm & management team in times of crisis. The response by this leadership has been impressive and refreshing. They have committed to zero layoffs, created a Neudesic Investment Fund to support key clients & initiatives, and have put profits aside for the sake of their employee's health, safety & well-being. You couldn't ask for more.

In return, I've seen the rank & file work even harder by being flexible and creative to support sales pursuits, network within their sphere to identify new opptys, exceed client expectations with incredible focus and delivery and really come together as a team. Although this is a global crisis, the Neudesic organization has grown stronger with a general resiliency, creativity, and determination that just reinforces what I already knew - that this is simply a great place to work and build a career.

    Benefits are average at best.

    Senior Consultant I Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Kochi (India)
    Declined Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Difficult Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Neudesic (Kochi (India)) in March 2020.

Once my resume was shortlisted, recruiter called and asked me to come directly to their office, One technical interview was done with two Mid Level Technical engineers in the panel. They asked about everything mentioned in the resume and asked some in detail as well..

Next round was scheduled after 2-3 days with the architect, again asked a lot of difficult questions. Could not answer many of them.

Then recruiter came back and said that I have caliber but not much exposure to the type of work they does. They asked me to do an assignment with a specific scenario and submit by next week.. I completed the assignment and submitted and explained on next week, the architect asked some more changes and I did that and submitted again, after two days..

After the assignment, I have been asked to do a machine test for java, where they have created a sample java program to parse a json to a specified format
Next round was Interview with the manager, which was scheduled after 2 days, he asked some technical questions and some queries to test my enthusiasm and problem solving skills.. That went well and then there was one more round with the HR, scheduled 1 week after.

After all this, the recruiter came back and told me that I have to join within 20 days. They are ready to pay a percentage of the buyout bot not complete amount. They were exploiting the fact that I had a recent job change(which didn't go well)

Anyway, I accepted the offer, tried to get out of my current company in 20 days, and then came the Corona Lockdown, due to which, my manager asked me to serve full notice period of 60 days. I informed the same with recruiter and they told me that they are aggressively hiring and they cannot do much if I can't join within their specified time period and the offer will be invalidated
