I worked at Newton Investment Management full-time
Pros
Good working environment - great people and a high level of autonomy. Career progression is good at more junior levels. Flat structure means even more junior staff get a voice. Emphasis on work/life balance
Cons
Career progression becomes harder at more senior levels. Perception is of "entrenched" top management. While work/life balance is good, some parts of the organisation can feel less dynamic than peers.
Application
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Newton Investment Management (London, England) in February 2017.
Interview
First round interview with HR lady from BNY Mellon. Was referred to Newton and had an interview with two people - a director and associate. They asked me general questions about myself and views on the industry, nothing technical.
