    I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Nisbets in April 2019.


    Perhaps the most shambolic process I have ever encountered & certainly the most disrespectful to the candidate. Had a 5 minute phone call with Area Manager & was then invited to interview. Interviewed by 2 field based employees, standard competency questions which all seemed fine & was promised I'd hear within a week. Then it all started to go wrong. I heard nothing, so called multiple times, & sent multiple emails over the next few weeks but was completely ignored by the interviewer. Absolute disgrace. Eventually contacted their HQ to complain about my treatment which elicited a response eventually. I was given a questionable reason as to why I was not successful when the interviewer called. I only received a call as he'd obviously been pushed by HQ following my complaint. This interviewer has no respect for the time & money spent by a candidate & is a disgraceful representation of a 'family' business. If this is how he behaves to prospective employees I'm glad not to be working in the business
