I worked at OpenCredo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

OpenCredo is a very unique place to work. The density of professionals are incredibly high. They are one of the best in the industry.
Working here is challenging in good manner, but every day people can learn something new. They have very high standard for their consultants and really care about their clients.
OpenCreado has serious partnership with very strong technological companies.
The company fulfills everything what a software engineer needs: learning opportunities, interesting projects, conferences, relaxed (head office) environment.
The company is transparent, you really feel you are a part of a community.
I can just strongly recommend both employers and clients. I am doubt, I find such a good place as OpenCredo.

    Cons

Because they have a lot of professional people, less experienced consultants can feel the pressure to reach their level.
Management give lack of guidance which technologies needs to pick up, and material depends up to you.
However the company is transparent, communication doesn't work always in the best way.
Engagement leading should follow a pattern (methodology, engagement meetings...)

    Advice to Management

Spend time to provide an essential and good learning material which is good for newcomers to pick up their missing skills.
Emphasize your own best practices and communicate them toward the consultants.
More participant engagements really need a frame which allow everyone to get back feedback frequently and take action as earlier as possible.

    Marketing Manager Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenCredo in January 2016.

    Interview

Sent in cv to a nice guy who called back.
Went in to London and met with a Partner and CFO.
    Both very stern.
The Partner did not stand up when I walked in, or look at me, he carried on typing and looking at his screen.
When he did stand up, he was very frosty.

He and the other interviewer seemed to be buddies, lots of side glances, comments muttered under their breath, they looked chummy, and whispered in front of me as if I were not there.

They told me they were looking for a professional Marketing Manager - what did they think I was ? Why invite me in if they were not serious ?
Then they said they only employ 'the best' but they did not hire anyone in fact.
They kept whispering and passing knowing glances - did they think I was blind and had not noticed ?

Well, guys, I am freelancing and putting bread n butter on the table and very employable - your loss.
Please read the cv's, please do not chat in front of the candidate as if they were not there, please provide a reply either way and feedback, please be professional, after all, the candidate is also judging you.
