Mission: To be a global leader in specialist and innovative recruitment solutions.
I have been working at Opus Professional Services Group full-time (More than a year)
It really is what it promises. It's fast paced, ambitious, exciting, and rewards are there for those who want to work hard. It's the perfect place for people who are entrepreneurial, but it also provides great training and support at junior levels to help you get a grounding in recruitment.
It's the kind of place where you can be who you want to be. You can work hard, do the basics and get ahead in recruitment. Or you can also take all the crazy opportunities open to you and propel your career in ways that aren't possible in small, unambitious companies, or big corporates with lots of red tape. It's basically the best of both worlds.
So much great stuff going on that sometimes it's hard to keep up with it all. Information is out there, but comms could be quicker
Advice to Management
Keep going. I hope that as it gets bigger and bigger the 'start up' and entrepreneurial spirit continues!
I applied online. I interviewed at Opus Professional Services Group (Bristol, England) in February 2018.
Went in for an assessment centre day with about 10 other candidates. We were in at 9 and it lasted until 4. First activity involved meeting the current staff. This was followed by a boardroom meeting where all the applicants had to introduce themselves to the interviewers. Then there was a dragon's den style activity to assess your objection handling skills. This was followed by some mock recruitment calls based on scenarios given to you. Finally you have two 1-on-1 interviews - one is a more informal, getting to know you style interview, and the other is more competency based.
