PHMG – Why Work For Us?

Established in 1998, PHMG has grown to become the world’s leading audio branding agency. Today, we help more than 28,000 businesses from every sector of the global market sound as good as they look – including world-leading brands such as Coca-Cola, Audi and Adidas.

PHMG’s product portfolio is built around On-Hold Marketing: a blend of creative copy, world-class voice artistry and exclusive music that replaces the beeps or silence traditionally heard on-hold. Each of these elements works to represent the distinct identity of each individual client, and is entrusted to the industry’s finest writing, composition and voiceover talent. This production works to connect with a captive audience, encouraging enquiries, reducing perceived wait time and creating the most professional impression of a business. When this is complemented with additional Auto Attendant, Out-of-Hours and Business Voicemail productions, companies transform the entire caller experience – giving them a sound that showcases their identity just as powerfully as their image.

PHMG is a proud member of the Institute of Customer Service (ICS). Following a recent in-depth survey by the ICS, we scored higher than the UK average in every category, with a 98.5% overall satisfaction rate. These exceptional results prove our Audio Branding Consultants and Account Managers’ unwavering commitment to customer care.

Progress your career with the world's leading audio branding agency.

Now’s an exciting time to be part of PHMG. Our international client base is expanding across the globe, creating endless opportunities for rapid career progression. And with your success comes valuable rewards.

More than 400 staff work across our offices in London, Manchester and Chicago – and we want to add your talent to our dynamic, creative and passionate team.

How does your future sound?

Showing our support. Playing our part.

The PHMG Foundation is our unique fundraising initiative, designed to help us give something back. Founded in 2013, it was established with one key objective in mind:

To assist – in any such way the trustees see fit – any charity whose aims include relieving poverty, distress, sickness and disease.

Every year, each department in the company selects the charity they want to fundraise for, allowing us to support the causes closest to our hearts. In just four years, we’ve raised more than £150,000 for almost 50 different organisations – taking part in 150 activities including marathons, triathlons and assault courses. 2016 was our biggest year yet, and we raised a record total of £30,000. This was doubled by the company to create a donation of £60,000, and this incredible result is all down to the hard work and generosity of our staff.

Last year may have been a huge success, but we’re not stopping there. 2017’s list of charities features 18 worthy causes including Action for Children, Rainbow Trust and the Toronto Humane Society. With a new target of £50,000 and a host of exciting events in the pipeline, we plan to make this year even bigger and better.

The PHMG ethos:

As a company, we take great inspiration from American Football Coach Vince Lombardi’s famous quote:

“Individual commitment to a group effort – this is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilisation work.”

This philosophy shapes the way we work on a day-to-day basis, and we expect all our employees to share our individual commitment to the group effort. But our ethos goes beyond this. From this quote, our company mantra was born:

Hard work – Irrational commitment – Continuous improvement

Every member of our staff embodies these qualities, and it’s these three principles that are the key to success at PHMG.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PHMG in February 2017.

First a screening telephone call from internal recruiter.

Next a twenty minute telephone interview.

Then a face to face interview with the head of sales including tour of London office, sales floor and games room. Good buzz about the place.

The final interview was spending half an hour shadowing a person in the role i applied for. Then nearly an hour long interview with the regional director.

    • Tell me about yourself?
Why do you want to work for phmg?
