REKKI is an app that connects restaurants to their suppliers, making ordering easier, more efficient, and more accountable for both parties. We see it as our duty to reimagine the supply chain for the food industry.

Currently headquartered in London, but with an ever growing global presence, our team is made up of passionate people (many of whom are ex-chefs and former REKKI users themselves) who are dedicated to making REKKI a world class product for the people we serve. Commercial
We are the face of the business, for both current and future users around the globe. Many of us worked in the hospitality industry before joining REKKI, so we understand the problems we are solving and listen to honest feedback from our community. We create strong and lasting relationships with chefs and suppliers.
Design
We design for people, not for designers. We care about typography just as much as we care about user journeys. Function and form take priority, and we are not afraid to challenge the norm. We design with honesty and attitude.
Engineering
We take ownership of the things we build, allowing everyone to have impact and influence. Our approach is collaborative with people across the business, and we are always willing to try something new. We are not scared to take risks that we believe will pay off in the long term, like building our own tools from scratch.
Legal and Finance
We are a small team, with a big responsibility. We collaborate with people across the business, and with our investors, to find the best solutions for the company. We provide the processes and legal infrastructure to make sure REKKI moves in the right direction.
People
We want to make sure REKKI is the best place for every employee, and we won’t settle for anything less. It matters to us that we hire the right people for the job, and that everyone has the best set up and support possible. We prioritise learning and growth and help people develop in their areas of interest.
Product
We lead by example and work closely with our users to understand their needs. We think long-term but are confident in making short-term moves when they make the most sense. Working as a team, we deliver products that serve a purpose and earn their place in kitchens and businesses around the world.

Pros
The best company for moral and positive outlook i have every worked for. Find myself regularly telling people how much I love what I do and who I do it for. It is intense, but so it should be when you work for a company fighting to make a name. Bosses are all very approachable and easy to work for.

I interviewed at REKKI (London, England) in February 2019.
Interview
The interview process was in-depth and consisted of an initial discussion with the CEO, followed by onsite interviews in London where I met the whole team.
The onsite interviews were a very personal experience where I could feel everyone was in the same boat, really trying to build the best possible product and help the users. The kitchen in the office is a great idea as it gets everyone together for lunch & the food quality is outstanding. It is also reflective of the mission of REKKI; that of building sustainable businesses, starting with restaurants - something they know very well.
Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and the office had the feeling of a kitchen in many ways, where everyone is digging in together to make something special happen.
Interviewing at start-ups can often be quite a chaotic experience with little structure and process in place. However, REKKI was far more organised in this sense to what I've seen before.
