Career development opportunities are there but have to be persistent in ensuring it’s supported by management as their goals are not necessarily for your development.
Some out dated behaviours still exist ie pre 2008 crash. Overhaul of management at business level not division is needed.
Advice to Management
One thing is to listen, another is to actually do something about it.
Honesty at all levels is necessary if you’re going to engage and succeed as a group.
