I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Royal Bank of Scotland (Coventry, England) in June 2018.
Felt nervous to begin with but interviewing with branch manager and deputy manager in the branch. This was a face to face interview in branch after doing a video interview and a phone call. They made me feel at ease at the start of the interview asking questions about myself. To begin with I was asked what I’d done before in my employment, what I knew about the role I was applying for and what I knew about RBS as a company. I was then asked competency based questions followed by a role play. In total the interview took about 1 and a half hours! It was very intense but I felt positive afterwards. I did not get offered the job and only got an email saying I was not successful, I felt this was unprofessional, I have requested feedback.
