    Graduate Scheme Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Edinburgh, Scotland

    Positive Experience

    Application

The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Royal Bank of Scotland (Edinburgh, Scotland).

    Interview

The procedure itself was quite long. I submitted my application in September 2017 and eventually got invited for assessment centre in January 2018. The initial stage was to fill in basic application including previous experiences gained. There was situation judgemental, numerical and logical reason test. I found numerical test quite difficult. But I think I had done good enough to reach video interview. Video interview was quite straight forward it was based on mainly the interest in the scheme and a few other questions.
Assessment centre was really good. There was a group activity, then a presentation of the finding of that group discussion to a manager. Then 121 competency based interview and finally I had to write a couple of emails as my final tasks.
The very next day I received the phone call saying I was successful.
