SABIC is headquartered in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chemicals, agri-nutrients, plastics and metals. We supply these materials to companies, who use them to make a wide array of products on which much of the world has come to depend.
At SABIC, we believe in using chemistry to power the ambitions of our customers, business partners, employees and societies we live in. We call this “CHEMISTRY THAT MATTERS™”.
We’ve always recognised the power of people. We believe that it takes special people to make a difference and they need ingenuity, brilliance and the freedom to turn their ideas into reality. This has helped shape the culture at SABIC. We seek out open-minded, gifted, questioning people and create the conditions for their talent to flourish: fulfilling work environments, state-of-the-art technology and the empowerment they need.

SABIC is a company you encounter every day. Everything from the packaging of your food to the clothes you wear, the car you drive and the digital screen you are looking at right now – have one thing in common. They have all been made using SABIC products.
That’s hardly surprising considering we’re the second-largest diversified chemical company in the world, helping our customers develop over 150 new products each year.

We have operations in over 40 countries, customers in over 100, and employ around 40,000 people. But, we are always looking for ways to continually develop and grow.
SABIC is implementing an ambitious expansion strategy, but we do not believe in growth at any cost. That’s because we share everyone’s concerns about the future of our communities and the environment. Application
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SABIC (Redcar, England).
Interview
Was invited forn an interview after applying online
The interview took a full day and included a Behavioral Event Interview, a technical interview, a management interview and a group exercise.
For the behavioral interview you are expected to talk about times you had to influence or convince someone, and see how you did it.
In the group exercise all candidates gather and have to assemble a sort of puzzle that can't be assembled unless it is done in the correct order, with several restrictions (no talking, only some candidates can touch some pieces...)
