I have been working at SDL full-time
Very professional environment, and respectful workforce. Nice offices and working environment. Ability to work from home up to 2 days a week is beneficial, especially if you have an awkward commute.
Car parking is a pain. Huge use of technology to get job done can be quite a challenge for the older employee who is not so used to it!
I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at SDL (London, England) in December 2017.
Initially telephone-interviewed by recruitment consultant. Then had F2F interview with existing Marketing Manager and a Sales Manager. It was in a new open plan office on many floors with all the carpets and furniture new and trendy - looks impressive.
I was surprised to find that what they were actually looking for did not really match up with the advertised JD. They asked for experience in some software, but they need an expert in it because would be used most of the day every day in the job.
