    I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SalonCentric (Chicago, IL)

    Interview

    The process was extremely long. I did an initial interview with a recruiter. A month later (only because I followed up), they scheduled me an interview with the hiring manager. The interview wasn’t anywhere close to the territory this position was hiring for. The hiring manager was very rough around the edges and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. I thanked her for the interview the next day. Heard nothing. I followed up after two weeks- she said they were still interviewing. Six weeks later, I get an email from the recruiter saying they went in a different direction…. Really?!! I had no idea?!

    I have interviewed with SalonCentric in the past and the process has always been long and drawn out with minimal follow up on their end. I don’t feel they value their applicants. I have significant industry experience and am well qualified but don’t plan to apply anymore. Don’t want to waste my time.
