    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (Aberdeen, Scotland).

    Interview

This was a formal interview with two senior members of staff asking questions. The questions were mainly customer service based, though they did expect candidates to have at least an awareness of the structure of the court system. They also seemed interested in knowing about me as a person. They let me know within a few days of their decision.

    Interview Questions

    • What do you know about the Scottish Court Service structure and what we do?   Answer Question
    • Can you tell us about a time you dealt with an aggressive customer?   Answer Question
    • What do you think you would bring to the team?   Answer Question
    • Tell us about a time you used your initiative to deal with a challenging situation.   Answer Question
    • Tell us a little something about you as a person.   Answer Question
