At Search, we know our people make the difference. With 13 offices across the UK and over 650 staff, Search offers a structured career path which allows for progression for both experienced and new consultants. In addition, our bonus scheme is one of the recruitment industry’s best, allowing your earnings to match your success and ambition.

Whatever the background, our people really make us special. We are extremely proud to be named in The Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Companies To Work For for the sixth year in a row. Together with our newly acquired Investors in People Platinum status, = our sheer dedication to make our staff feel welcome and valued cannot be faulted.

We know our industries and sectors – we consult with clients and candidates because we understand the jobs they do and no other recruitment companies do this on our scale. Others have worked in sales organisations or at other recruiters and have decided to make the move to one of the UK’s leading recruitment consultancies.

What could be more satisfying as a career than using your professional understanding to help people progress in their careers while you make a success of your own!

At Search, we offer a training package for all consultants new to the company which is regarded as one of the best in in the recruitment industry.

All consultants are given an intense induction covering how we operate and what we expect from you. We’ll also give a transparent overview of how our bonus system works and go through our additional incentive schemes, so you can quickly get a full understanding of how your hard work will translate into financial reward.

We’ll work hard to get the very best out of you and you can expect regular investment in training and workshops to ensure your skills remain sharp and fully utilised.

"Both trainers had so much knowledge and passion on what they were teaching us. I overcame any preconceptions I had about working in recruitment and what a recruitment consultant characteristics were. I feel like I am now more than capable of being a success in my role thanks to the training I have received."

"Amazing three days. I was really looked after and felt very much a part of Search. I have learned so much and I can't wait to put everything I have learnt into practice".

Search is my first recruitment job and couldn't ask for better training and guidance. From the moment I started at Search I was provided with all information required to carry out my job effectively and constant development with my manager. The opportunities to develop and be promoted are clearly laid out and targets are clearly set.
Everyone at Search are so helpful even across Divisions if need any advise and senior management are heavily involved and contactable regarding anything. I couldn't imagine working for another recruitment company.

Had no bad experiences regarding Search and would recommend to anyone looking to join Recruitment.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Search Consultancy (Manchester City Centre, England) in August 2016.

Initially had a telephone interview which went well however the face-to-face interview did not go as well. The interviewer seemed nice, offered me a drink which I declined (maybe I shouldn't have). Started by asking me to explain my CV. Also it seemed important that the candidate for the job was resilient as the job requires someone to do the same tasks day in day out.
