    I have been working at Selfridges (Less than a year)

    Pros

    It's really enjoyable to work at Selfridges Oxford st. The environment is nice, their is opportunities to grow up and the salary is good. The hours are also good, not really exhausting and allow you to socialize after work. well, I guess that also depend the floor and brand you working with. It's better to be own bought than concession at some point. The discount are also ok, up to 35%.

    Cons

    Well, there is none for the moment. Maybe the department manager could be more easy to contact when you need help with a customer but overall I can't find any con.

    Advice to Management

    Some manager feel superior and a bit arrogant with the staff, you should work on that point. Except that keep working as you do !

    I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Selfridges (London, England).

    Interview

    First interview with one person who would be the line manager. Sat in a training room, so it was good to see the environment although didn't see the offices. Tip: Allow plenty of time to sign in at front desk as security is very high. It took me about 15 minutes and then they sent me to the wrong floor, which did not get me off to a good start with my interviewer, because it made it look like I was late, when I had actually been early.
