I was ghosted after 3 stages of interview. It was a very disappointing experience and oddly worrying for a company of this standing, especially as they were very positive throughout every stage of the interview process.

Thank you Nick for your positive words #TeamSelfridges 💛 Selfridges Spirit It won’t be too long before we say hello When we’re all together in the big yellow We’ll all be clapping hugging and a screaming It’s the day that we’ve all been dreaming With arms outstretched, loads of high fiving We’ll be dancing around twerking and jiving We’ll be ready and waiting for when the day comes Singing a dancing, I’ll bet there’ll be drums The doors I’ll swing open and customers will flock Let’s have a party and make those stores rock Let’s wait patiently and ride the wave Not too long to Surprise Amuse and Amaze

On International Women’s Day, we are proud to share the news that Anne Pitcher, Selfridges Group Managing Director, has been named as a finalist for The Bold Woman Award by Veuve Clicquot. These prestigious awards, which have been running since 1972, honour inspirational women with a track record of success. Anne has been shortlisted alongside Starling Bank founder, Anne Boden and Vaneles Diamonds founder, Vania Leles. Sian Westerman, a member of the judging panel, said: “This year’s nominees are some of the most determined and innovative women leading British business today. By boldly taking on challenges such as market turbulence and heavy industry competition, they are inspiring the next generation of female leaders to challenge convention and follow in their footsteps.” Best of luck to everyone, the winner will be announced at a ceremony in London in May. #TeamSelfridges
