I worked at Sharp Electronics (US) full-time
Polite and friendly colleagues
Limitation to progress in the company
I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Sharp Electronics (US) in December 2007.
very basic, not very professional. They seem to make judgements based on emotion and "type" rather than really making sure the people are good fits. The interview schedule had many changes to it and they seemed very unorganized. They also had strange choices for interviewers having lower level people do the interviews.
Reasons for Declining
the people that worked there did not appear to be happy or really like the company, mgmt, or each other. I think they salary offered was competitive but overall the company seemed to be poorly run from a people point of view. I got the impression that the company did not value its employees and it showed by the people conducting the interview.
Interviewers and candidates alike were hard at work yesterday at the SEC professional recruitment event in Montvale.
Sharp volunteers had a blast providing and serving lunch at Camp Lots of Fun! Camp Lots of Fun is a program run by Family Promise of Bergen County that aims to give underprivileged children a real summer camp experience. Our campers are now happy and full! #SharpCares
