I worked at Sharp Electronics (US) full-time
Polite and friendly colleagues
Limitation to progress in the company
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Sharp Electronics (US) (London, England) in January 2015.
The role required two interviews;
Firstly ; a meeting with direct line manager and HR
the second requiring a presentation to be prepared to line manager, HR and another member of the SMT.
Sharp’s Montvale headquarters hosted a hoops event where we raised money for http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMXHn, a nonprofit organization that provides adaptive equipment to children with special needs. We raised money for a good cause and enjoyed some friendly competition with our coworkers #SharpCares
As we near #InternationalWomensDay this week, Sharp launched an amazing initiative to honor the women we work with today and will work with tomorrow. WISE (Women Influencing Sharp’s Empowerment) is designed to provide opportunity and networking through a series of events for the Sharp community. This morning, Sharp employees enjoyed a town hall style presentation over breakfast while learning more about the initiative from SIICA President and CEO Mike Marusic and Debbie Tyler, SEC Deputy General Counsel and Chairperson of the WISE Steering Committee.
