    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Société Générale (London, England) in May 2015.

    Interview

CV and cover letter and a phone interview where I was asked about my background. However, screening process was a pain and took really long. Compliance and HR needs improvement at Societe Generale. Other than that I was mostly tested on previous experience and it was a very casual conversation where I gave some concrete examples about past achievements and work I did in teams. I think the most important thing is to be confident and answer questions that are asked in asked in a direct and relevant way and not wonder off too much from what the employer want you to answer. Be very specific and have interesting questions about the company and the challenges they are trying to solve currently in the division you are applying for.
Most of all be yourself and practice stories you want to tell and sell. Be humble and curious and see the interview as an opportunity and something you look forward too rather than thinking about nerves.
