    Pros

Everyone is so nice and welcoming.
Company culture is great and flexible.
You're given a lot of opportunity to do what you want to do.
I was suffering from some mental health issues, and they paid for my therapy.
    Unlimited holiday.

    Cons

Can get a little noisy! There are places to go and work on your own and in quiet, but the office has a real energy and buzz to it.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Social Chain (Manchester, England).

    Interview

I applied for the job via email. I sent over a CV and a cover letter, although they advise 'creative' and 'imaginative' applications but I did not think this was suitable for a finance role. I heard back within an hour and got an interview. I met with the FC who was professional, and wanted to ask questions related to the role, wanting to hear about my skills and experience, however the other person in the interview (I think he was one of the founders?!) was more interested in what super powers I would have, and what cocktail I would be. I felt the interview went well, the FC showed me around which I thought was positive, however I never heard back even after contacting them numerous times. I think it was very unprofessional, and the company is all for 'show' and wanting to look like the best company out there, when I think it is all a front. Quite glad I didn't get the job to be honest.
