Pros
Culture is amazing, one of the best if not the best I’ve experienced. The office is super homely, modern and spacious. Plenty of snacks, Friday lunches, and social do’s always on the go. Lots of industry talks from people at Warner as well as outside the company. This has allowed me to learn a bunch about the industry and feels quite special. The music industry work is super exciting and motivating, I love the mission and am fully behind it. There are some super experienced heads from YouTube and Google who are now at our parent company (Warner) and this is helping us with our strategy.
Cons
Songkick has gone through some tough times with law suits, restructured and Covid which all took place 3+ years ago. They are scrappy and made it through but the products now have a bit of tech + design debt. Things continue to be scrappy but I have full confidence in how + where things are now going.
