    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at St John Ambulance (York, England) in July 2019.

    Interview

Very casual and relaxed. We all sat and drank tea, then took turns to demonstrate we were fit enough to do CPR for several minutes, had our DBS cleared, had a private interview and gave our uniform sizes.
