StarLeaf brings people together through the power of messaging, meetings and calling.

StarLeaf is a privately held company with offices throughout the world. We are a service provider and manufacturer with both messaging and video conferencing services and a comprehensive range of video endpoints for meeting rooms, desktops and mobility.

The StarLeaf OpenCloud has been built from the ground up and we do not use or rely upon any third-party products. But, most importantly, we are focused on delivering services and products that allow you to easily connect with anyone, anywhere and at any time.

The company was founded in 2008 by three veteran telecoms and video conferencing entrepreneurs and Cambridge graduates: Mark Loney, Chief Executive Officer; William MacDonald, Chief Technology Officer; and Mark Richer, Executive Chairman.

Since inception StarLeaf has focused on the needs of the business communications market, prioritizing ease of use for customers; high quality of calls and service; and enterprise quality network monitoring and call control. Its list of customers includes household names like Travelex, Bose and Dr. Martens.

StarLeaf is a global company with representation on every continent and offices across the world. Founded in 2008, StarLeaf has grown into a major player in its field, due entirely to the talent and dedication of our team members.

I worked at StarLeaf full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

StarLeaf has been a great company to work for as my first foray into the world of work. The atmosphere is super friendly and stress-free, and interns are treated as full employees where they get to work on large projects that have a genuine impact. I got to learn a lot about software development that will certainly help me later on in my career, as well as working with some really great people. 10/10!

    Cons

    None from my time there

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at StarLeaf (Cambridge, East of England, England) in December 2017.

    Interview

Interviewed at Starleaf in Cambridge. I was given quite a lot of background on the company, shown some of their products and talked through some previous intern work. Then there were some algorithm based questions, mainly on projects I'd implemented and mentioned in my application. Then I got shown the main office.

Process lasted a couple of hours, and was very relaxed - interviewer really friendly.
