I have been working at State Street Global Advisors full-time (More than a year)

Hugely supportive of working parents - flexible working is encouraged and well-adopted
Visible signs of leadership from diverse range of individuals (there are many women in MD or above roles)
The Fearless Girl initiative - the firm lives these values
    Collaborative and friendly culture
World class investment team and capabilities
In London the firm has operational scale and this gives us the ability to offer a wide range of services but we are small enough so each individual can make a personal impact and build their own profile

Focus on consensus decision-making can make decisions slower to reach and decisions can be diluted through consensus
Canary Wharf location does not suit everyone (although Jubilee Line is surprisingly fast!)

    Advice to Management

Query internal meeting time - how many meetings are needed/do we have the right attendees?
I can see the culture is changing and we are becoming more nimble and faster-moving - what can each individual do to help with this transition?

    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at State Street Global Advisors (London, England) in March 2019.

Applied in September of 2018, I only heard back in March 2019 and was invited for a final round interview following a quick telephone interview the week prior. The interview was only 1 hour and was with two senior individuals from the team that I would be working on.
