I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Taff Housing Association (Cardiff, Wales) in Jun 2022
InterviewReally great interview. Made me feel welcome and at ease. The way they made it a friendly conversation went a long way. I was given enough time to provide full answers, and was asked more questions from my answers so it became a natural conversation in parts. I was also prompted when I got tongue tied or gave a disjointed answer when I didn't understand the question fully, I was very grateful for this. The chief exec was genuine, down to earth, and friendly which was refreshing (not intimidating as some CEO's can be!), I was offered the role but sadly declined after receiving another offer and found it very difficult to decide- I regret my decision as I know they would have been a fantastic team to work for.Interview

Taff launch a new Corporate Plan 2021-2024 Taff was founded 45 years ago! Our founders were passionate about helping families in housing need – that commitment remains with us today. Our social purpose is stronger than ever. We understand the importance of a safe, secure and affordable home. We develop places with people, not profit, in mind, building homes and communities where people can thrive. We own and manage over 1,500 homes across Cardiff, giving over 4,000 people somewhere to call home. We also provide support services to over 1,000 people across South Wales, and we’re growing, aiming to build as many new homes as possible by 2024 to help solve the housing crisis. Without a doubt, the Coronavirus pandemic has posed an unprecedented challenge to the ways we work and how we deliver our services. Despite these challenges, we remain optimistic. We have a new Executive Leadership Team in place, and we are looking to the future. Our response to the Covid-19 pandemic has driven change at pace and proven that very little of how we do what we do is set in stone. We’ve risen
Taff First HA in Wales to Achieve RACE Equality Code Quality Mark Taff Housing Association is the first housing association in Wales to qualify to use the RACE (Reporting Action Composition Education) Equality Code quality mark. To qualify to display the mark, Taff had to demonstrate it encouraged race equality in its own organisation by going through a rigorous assessment and drawing up an action plan for it to follow. Chief Executive Helen White said that ‘working through the assessment process has helped us identify the actions we need to take to create transformational, sustainable and lasting change in how we deal with racial inequality in the boardroom and senior leadership team.’ The Race Equality Code draws learning and recommendations outlined in reports, charters, and pledges, with the aim of supporting organisations that are actively tackling diversity and inclusion challenges. It was launched in October last year as part of Black History Month 2020 by Dr Karl George MBE and a national steering group of experts in governance and racial inequalities.
