I have been working at Tate & Lyle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Positive and friendly, warm place to work where everyone has a great work ethic and are highly team spirited. Very organised with a high level of communication on all levels. I have also found that in my role i am treated with the highest level of respect from all of my colleagues and i am treated as an equal.

    Cons

We do not own the building and share a floor with a company who is the complete opposite to ours, extremely unfriendly.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. This is the best company I have ever worked for since my role at C&A ended in 2001. Great company and great people!!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tate & Lyle.

    Interview

Telephone interview followed by face to face interview. After the interview I was told I would be called 3 days later with the outcome. I was never called and instead received an email almost 2 weeks later that I hadn't gotten the job after travelling 500 miles for the interview. Very discourteous and at that point I had already been offered another role and decided even if they offered me it I would decline. Do what you say you will do and don't waste people's time.
