  • We are delighted to announce that The Telemarketing Company (TTMC) has been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Silver Standard, one of the highest levels available, reached by only 15% of accredited businesses. Niall Habba, Managing Director, “We are extremely happy to share this news. Investors in People is the international standard for people management and we have a natural affinity with an accreditation around best practice in leading, supporting and managing people. We need to attract and retain the best staff to maintain the high quality service we owe our clients, so it is critical that we continue to challenge ourselves in this area and aspire to higher standards.” Achieving the Silver Standard puts TTMC in the top third of all IIP accredited companies. The company is now working towards the Gold Standard within the IIP framework, using feedback from the recent assessment to fuel an ongoing drive for excellence and a commitment to supporting staff in realising their full potential.

  • As part of an ongoing commitment to developing and rewarding its people, The Telemarketing Company has been accredited as a Living Wage employer for Brighton and Hove. Firms that register (currently 5% of businesses in Brighton & Hove) commit to pay their staff a basic salary at least equal to the Real Living Wage figure set for their region. The rate, which is significantly higher than the legal minimum wage, is set independently each year by the Resolution Foundation, based on the costs of leading a decent life in the UK. Niall Habba, MD commented: “We’re delighted to make this announcement. People are the key resource for any business but, sadly, many firms in our sector have a poor reputation when it comes to looking after their staff. It is vital for us to ensure that our employees are treated and paid fairly."
