I worked at The Learning House full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I honestly can’t think of one. Parking sucks. The pay sucks. The location sucks.

    Cons

The pay was awful. The culture was downright similar to a cult (most of the colleges were Christian based; perhaps they took it too far). I witnessed someone harassed and mocked on an instant message chat. They’d tell you to write good reviews. They bullied most of their staff. It’s an terrible, no good, awful place to work. Oh and the pay is an absolute joke.

    Advice to Management

    Stop drinking the koolaid.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at The Learning House (New York, NY (US)).

    Interview

I had two rounds of interviews followed by a homework assignment to highlight different ways of promoting a school. After turning my paper which consisted of 2 pages in I heard nothing back. This makes me think some of my ideas may have been compromised. Everything seemed to go well previously until I gave them this. I'm exactly not sure what they're looking for since this is a newly created position. I had 3 years of experience but hopefully they find that they want.
