Mission: Our mission is to be the global champion of the people assessment industry, as we really do love assessments. We want to help every business person, student, and sporting professional reach their full potential.
I have been working at Thomas International full-time (Less than a year)
Great product and great CEO vision for growth. The company was recently bought out by a PE firm, so many changes happening which (I am sure) have caused angst in many. I am relatively new to the company (started this year), but there is good volume in the office, laughter, and positive energy. Employees who want to achieve results are motivated and happy. I genuinely do not see the negatives that I’ve read on here. To the contrary, the environment is motivational and forward thinking.
The business is transitioning from a family run business to a professional company, so there is a real lack of good reporting and access to actionable data. However, if you clearly define what you want, there is the desire to deliver it from the teams. And there is a roadmap in place to develop a better infrastructure that will service the company moving forward. Solid CTO.
Advice to Management
Recognise the employees who are there for the long game. I think most are! It’s a happy place to work!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thomas International (Marlow, England) in April 2014.
From the moment I completed my on-line application through to the offer of employment I was very impressed by the whole recruitment process. I was pleased that I was assessed using the Thomas tools and that I had the opportunity to show what I can do in an assessment centre. What was most impressive, and told me a lot about the culture of the company, was the welcoming email I received from my line manager within hours of accepting the offer. I was even able to have some calls with her to clarify some my questions.
I was able to negotiate some future leave I had planned and discuss my salary expectations.
