  • Nearly 100 Travelers employees volunteered alongside American Forests and Knox Hartford to plant 36 trees at Colt Park in Hartford, Conn., Oct. 16. The project is not only part of our company-wide emphasis on community involvement, it is also part of our partnership with American Forests, to plant one tree each time a Personal Insurance customer chooses to go paperless. Thus far, Travelers has planted about 385,000 trees, with a goal of one million trees planted by the end of April 2020. See us in action:

There are so many opportunities at Travelers so your career can be whatever you want it to be. Great benefits (medical, 401k match, PTO) and Executive Leadership makes employees their priority. In many positions you can work from home when necessary, which is very helpful.

It can be very difficult to understand where your specific role fits in within your department or the entire company as it's such a large organization.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Hartford, CT (US)) in August 2019.

Streamlined and very efficient. Started with one-on-one phone calls followed by in-person individual meetings and then small group meetings. The process was very collaborative and moved along very quickly. The period from first in-person meeting to receiving offer was two weeks.
