Philanthropy & Volunteerism
At TripAdvisor, we understand the role we play in mobilizing our people, expertise and resources to address some of the most pressing humanitarian challenges facing global communities. Giving back has always been a core part of our DNA and the passion and commitment of our people around tackling critical issues has been the driving force behind the philanthropic efforts of the company and the TripAdvisor Charitable Foundation. Since 2010, our employee-led philanthropy has resulted in donations of over $25 million from the TripAdvisor Charitable Foundation to global nonprofits tackling community development, public health and disaster relief challenges. For us, it’s not about creating a big splash or making lots of noise; it’s about using our expertise and assets thoughtfully and strategically to improve lives.

Company looks after it's employees, supportive management, great team.
Sometimes not as transparent as the company claims but I think its normal for a listed company.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TripAdvisor (Needham, MA (US)) in April 2017.
Phone call with HR. Then a Skype interview with the hiring manager . Brief conversation regarding the position and my past experiences. Ask questions. The hiring manager was friendly and made the conversation primarily about my personality, strengths, and weaknesses.
