Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

ProsFull of lovely, intelligent and hard-working people. Great internal culture within the teams and so, so privileged to have been part of the group through all of the challenges of the last two years.
ConsThere is still a lot to fix and the work is challenging (but rewarding too), the team pull together brilliantly and there is always someone willing to collaborate and help.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Trouva (Portugal) in Feb 2022
Interview1st stage is a short call (30 min.) with a team member to discuss background, interests and ambitions. 2nd stage is a case study that will probably take you 3-4h hours to complete. Apparently 2 more stages after - one to assess cultural fit and a final interview - but I didn't go through them. They will ghost you if they don't want to move forward with you. They won't even bother to reject you even after you follow up, which just shows how little they care about applicants and their overall experience with their company.
