 At Trouva, we envision a world where beautiful offline inventory is easily available to all. We exist to take the world’s best independent retail online.

Launched in London in September 2015, Trouva co-founders Mandeep Singh, Alex Loizou, and Glen Walker recognised that some product categories weren’t able to scale their digital offering. Categories where discovery, inspiration and curation were key, and touch and feel were core to the customer experience were missing from the e-commerce landscape. As a result, customers were able to easily access the products they needed online, but often found it difficult to uncover the products they wanted.

We understand that customers want to discover beautiful and unique inventory through an intuitive experience that excites and inspires; and that finding the perfect product online can be tricky in an environment that focuses on fragmented experiences and commodity purchases.

That’s why at Trouva, we are building a different kind of e-commerce environment, driven by discovery and mirroring the best-in-class offline shopping experience provided by the masters of curation and inspiration - independent boutiques. By combining human-driven creativity with cutting edge technology, we are harnessing the creativity and expertise of the best bricks-and-mortar shops around the world and scaling their offering online to connect with a wider global customer base.

    Positive Outlook

    I worked at Trouva full-time (More than 3 years)


    I joined Trouva at its very early stages with the intention of working in a high pace startup environment. During my time at Trouva I was given the opportunity to work on projects that impacted every function of the business, allowing me to expand my thinking and skillset massively! There's a sense of unity between every employee at Trouva and you will immediately feel welcomed and included. The team structure is fairly flat and everyone's ideas are heard and tried. I had a lot of fun working at Trouva and expanded my skillset way faster than I would have anywhere else!


    This is a high pace startup, touching both Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets. Getting the right balance on where to spend your focus can be a bit hard, but the Management is always there to help you spend out.

    I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Trouva (London, England) in April 2018.


    First phone call with HR to get to know one another. Next telephone interview was with the line Manager. After that, they flew me to London to meet the team and talk to a variety of Managers (including both Founders). They were really transparent about the job and what was expected of me and even though I romanticized a few things, they were quite direct in what it's going to look like which was great.
