I applied online. I interviewed at Trustpilot (London, England) in August 2017.
Having applied for a role online, I was contacted a week later via email to organise a telephone interview. I then coordinated a time and date with the HR contact and received confirmation that they would call me. However, this is the surprising part the agreed time and date passed and no call I assumed that they may have been delayed. This was not the case as thirty minutes passed and no call, I never did receive any further contact from the HR advisor. This is completely unprofessional and reflects on the company as how they treat employees and do business.
