I worked at Twitter full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I loved the atmosphere, the working method and the results of our work. My team was a very professional and talented one. You also get the chance to work on different projects helping other teams on specific things that might require someone like you. You get amazing benefits as well!

    Cons

Well I got called redundant which made the experience bittersweet but the time spent there was great.

    Advice to Management

Sadly my manager at the time also got redundant and from my point of view she was an excellent professional and a very reliable manager. I just hope they keep people that is valuable.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Twitter.

    Interview

I was contacted by recruiter after I submitted my resume through web portal in May, 2012. I had three phone screen. It took them 3 months. After 3 phone screen they invited my to onsite tickets were booked. As I will be joining outside US, the H1B quota ran out. I was asked to delay the process till January, 2013.

Once I contacted them back in December - January, never got to hear back from recruiter even after 6-7 mails. This is totally unprofessional way to treat a candidate. They don't even consider I had taken 3 phone screen already was genuinely interested in the company.

I will warn potential candidate about such type of company which don't treat there candidates well.
