Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Where would you move (within the US) if you could move anywhere? And why there? Currently in NY, lease is up soon, working remotely forever. Never lived anywhere else in the US. I love nature, animals..snorkeling, horseback riding, working out gives me life.

InterviewThe first contact was made more than 6 months before the final interview was taken, generally it was OK but during the hiring process the director of the department has changed so the interview had to be taken once again and it took longer time. At first stage I had an interview with the dept. director and then with the teamleader. Strange but worked fine. Interviews was - as expected - about my expectations and previous experience.
