I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UK Power Networks (London, England) in December 2017.
I'm afraid I do not have a very positive view of UK Power Networks. I attended a job interview for a Public Affairs Manager role back in December. Despite chasing they have never sent me any feedback following my interview. Also the interview itself could have gone more smoothly. I turned up at 8.20am in the morning for my written test which was supposed to be from 8.30am - 9.15am. Nobody came down to collect me until around 8.37am, then by the time we went up in the lift and got to the room where the test took place it was 8.40am. However, despite the test starting ten minutes late the person who brought me to the room still came in at 9.15am to ask me to finish. Candidates attending job interviews deserve to be treated with courtesy, fairness and respect. This means ensuring they have the correct time to do written tests, as well as offering constructive feedback after the interview.
