I have been working at Understanding Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)
I applied to Understanding Recruitment back in April after meeting their internal recruiter Emily at an event. The interview process was robust but the perfect way for finding out if you were suitable for the company and if the environment was right for you also. The process involved a number of interviews and a presentation.
Nearly 4 months after being offered the job I have completed my first week here at Understanding as a trainee. I can highly recommend this company to anyone interested in entering a career in recruitment, the team are incredibly welcoming and the training is evidently to a high standard.
!!!Also they have a fully stocked drinks fridge!!!

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Understanding Recruitment (Saint Albans, England) in May 2016.
I initially had a phone call from one of the directors and we had a 15 min chat to determine exactly what I was looking for and what they could offer me. I was then invited for an interview at a time that was convenient for me. During my first interview, I spent an hour chatting with one director and an hour with the other director followed by some brief chats with some other members of the team i would be joining. I came back for a second interview with a presentation and was offered the job later that day.
The overall experience was very relaxed and it was the first interview I've actually enjoyed (and that's probably quite a rare thing to say).
We're back from the Scottish Highlands, for our epic challenge of raising £5,000 for Cancer Research UK. Read about our journey here: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ0hB
We're still a little short of our £5,000 target for Cancer Research UK. We ran, kayaked and cycled across 105 miles of the Scottish Highlands in just 2 days! Any further support would be hugely appreciated - Thank you! http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ0gs
