I have been working at University Health Network full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

many opportunities as a registered nurse due to the large teaching hospital. Supportive environment - lots of learning opportunities.

    Cons

High acuity causes for the work place to be demanding, and stressful. Requires you to work many weekends and night shifts.

    Advice to Management

Remember the front line workers - I feel there is a disconnect between what front line is expected to do vs. time and resources available.

    Interview

I was interviewed via video conference because I was out of town for the interview date. I appreciate the flexibility. I was asked standard interview questions (strength/weaknesses, scenario questions, relevant experience). Friendly interviewer. The interview took about 40 minutes.
