I have been working at University of Glasgow full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent salary and benefits. Fulfilling work. Opportunity for travel within research roles, funding dependent.

    Cons

Compulsory teaching requirements can be a hindrance to research positions, especially when on a short-term contract.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at University of Glasgow (Glasgow, Scotland) in September 2017.

    Interview

Great interview, very friendly and open questions asked by your lecturers who will also end up being your supervisors. 10/10 would highly recommend anyone to try for this job. Interview process and the job afterwards are both great.
