I worked at University of Roehampton part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Everyone at Roehampton is very kind. Students, faculty, and staff are all quite lovely to interact with. I truly enjoyed spending time with co-workers. The campus is also beautiful.

    Cons

The University in general is incredibly disorganized. This is at every level. As both a student and employee, this could be incredibly frustrating. If you are used to the standards of American universities, you will be somewhat disappointed here.

    Advice to Management

There may need to be a total overhaul of university processes to address issues of inefficiency.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at University of Roehampton (London, England) in June 2017.

    Interview

Quite fair. The three interviews were kind and did not give me a hard time, although some questions were not precisely easy. It lasted between 20 and 30 minutes for what I can remember. They seemed interested in getting to know me and my professional background.
