I have been working at University of Roehampton full-time (More than 3 years)
Beautiful campus, dynamic management determined to see Roehampton survive what are difficult times for the new universities. My experience is that if you do your job effectively and positively this is a supportive environment.
Some systems and processes are catching up with ever changing regulations. Catering outside term time could be better as campus is so far from shops. All organisations have things that could be improved but on a sliding scale Roehampton's minor issues don't compel me to make it 4 star
Advice to Management
Ensure transparency around workloads and expectations and where staff concerns rumble address them.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at University of Roehampton (London, England) in June 2017.
Quite fair. The three interviews were kind and did not give me a hard time, although some questions were not precisely easy. It lasted between 20 and 30 minutes for what I can remember. They seemed interested in getting to know me and my professional background.
