    Easy Interview

The interview process consisted of an email questionnaire and then a few Zoom interviews. It was extremely informal. I was interviewed by the founder both times. Not only was there little discussion about my experience or skill set and more why I wanted to work for them and how they work, there were some questions I felt were inappropriate such as “I assume you have children? Where will they be while you work?” Also, 99% of their employees are considered contractors and not w2 employees but they are not operating as contractors given the way UScreen expects them to work. The founder told me he was moving me to the “top of the list” and would be in touch with me the next week and then I never heard back from him. The salary range they had in mind was not competitive especially considering there were no benefits like health insurance, 401k, etc. These are just a few reasons they need to hire an experienced HR professional but I made the decision it wasn’t going to be me even had they made an offer. The lack of follow up to a candidate who had made it through multiple rounds of screening and interviewing is a poor reflection on the company and candidate experience.
