Pros
Has been a great atmospher to start in IT. Everyone is willing to help and lend their knowlege and expertise. This department also places a strong emphasis on training and obtaining meaningful certifications from industry leaders. I am expected to train a minimum of a few hours every week (on the clock). I also have the option to work from home and they will supply a laptop, docking station and monitor. Other items can be aqcuired, such as desk and office chair, but they take more time to work out.
Cons
The pay isn't great. But again, this is a great place to start and learn. This has a massive and complex network so an employee can get experience in a lot of different technologies and platforms.

Interview
I came in and met my peers in two interviews and it appeared that they essentially had to sign off on me. I also spoke to the Director one on one somewhat briefly. The questions about project management where very basic. We spoke about my resume a bit as well and some of my pertinent experiences. Then everyone signed off on whether they thought I was a good fit. This seemed like a great start, but this was a fairly ad hock process (i.e. they weren't consistent with this sort of interaction)InterviewWhat are the three constraints of project management?
