Mission: To achieve and maintain an unparalleled reputation for quality and service
by always being easy to work with, investing in ourselves to continually improve, and being proud of what we do.
I have been working at Veramed part-time (More than 3 years)
Management care about the staff, are approachable, flexible and transparent about company plans/developments
Line and project managers are supportive and motivating
Nice, friendly colleagues and a good amount of social activity
Good amount and variety of work with a focus on quality rather than churning work out
Plenty of opportunities for development and learning
The Twickenham office is in a great location - right next to the station, shops, numerous places to buy lunch and 5 minutes' walk to the river
Some benefits such as pension, sick pay and annual leave are not quite as good as some previous places I've worked (before becoming a Statistician). However, for a small company in the private sector I think they are reasonable and other benefits such as a private healthcare plan and bonus are better than I've had previously.
Advice to Management
They've done a great job so far so, as others have said, just do your best to preserve what keeps Veramed special as the company grows!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Veramed (Twickenham, England) in March 2017.
- Website and linked videos gave a good feel for the company, and that it was somewhere I wanted to work.
- Simple and fast process compared to the drawn out ones at larger companies.
- Process felt personal throughout - there's nothing worse than a series of automated and robotic emails!
