I have been working at Walt Disney Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits - free Disney park tickets, decent pay and holiday, Disney sample sales, movie screenings, additional day off at Christmas, 35% Disney store discount

    Cons

Most people love working here so they never leave, this results in no opportunities for progression and some stale and lazy employees who don't do a lot but know they have it good!

Favouritism amongst management - different rules for different employees.

If you're executive level don't expect to progress to manager, it's very rare as no promotions available

    Advice to Management

Shake things up and remove those not pulling their weight, this will make room for new ideas from those who actually want to progress and bring fresh energy to the organisation.

Employees are really starting to get fed up of having no career prospects.

Change the structure so employees feel like they can progress in their career at Disney rather than having to go elsewhere for a promotion.

    Legal Assistant Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (London, England) in September 2017.

    Interview

Applied online via the company website and received a call from the recruiter. After a brief discussion with regards to my application and the role, I was asked to come into interview at the Hammersmith branch.

    Interview Questions

    • Interviewed with the legal director (who was very pleasant) as well as meeting with several other support personal. We discussed the role (not sure the role was quite set in stone at that point in time) and she discussed the department / company structure but it was more of an informal "stage 1" meeting rather than an in depth formal interview.
Unfortunately, I felt we didn't really have enough time to discuss matters and I would have preferred more time with her but sadly it was not meant to be. I would say I was glad that I had the opportunity to interview and would defiantly would have loved to work with the team.   Answer Question
