    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wealth Wizards (Royal Leamington Spa, England) in June 2016.

    Interview

Fairly straight forward. I applied via a recruiter. I provided examples of my work, including various links to open source technologies. I wasn't given a technical task based on this.

The process was in 3 parts; telephone interview and two face-to-face interviews.

My telephone interview lasted about half an hour, which covered my experience, current job role and what I do outside of work.

The first face-to-face interview lasted about 2 hours, there wasn't a technical test, but I was vetted in terms of my knowledge regarding software development. I had to give examples and explain different terms that covered the general area of software engineering.

My final face-to-face interview was with a director and a senior team lead. They both drilled me on team values, ethnics and how I work. We discussed what I do outside of my job.

I thought highly of Wealth Wizards but unfortunately the travel was too much for me.
